TANK CLEANING AND CONFINED SPACE OPERATIONS
Tank and confined space cleaning are high-risk, specialized services which require technical expertise, skilled personnel and specially designed equipment. Skipwaste has combined these resources and ensures a specialized procedure to be followed for each project. Operational plans are required to be submitted to the Department of Labour and a full clearance obtained prior to any personnel entering a tank or confined space.
Specialized equipment i.e. fresh-air blowers and air test monitors are fitted to each employee, personal protective equipment (PPE) including self contained breathing apparatus suits are used in the event that conditions do not permit entry under normal circumstances.
